Q:	Am I entitled to free updates?
A:	One of the great features of The Reader's Edge software is that we offer all of our customers free updates for life.

Q:	Do I need an Internet connection to be able to use the program?
A:	The program does need to be activated at one time. The main way to activate the program is by using the online application built into the program. The program does include an alternate activation method where users can activate the program over the phone. The Reader's Edge also offers the ability for Users to access additional reading selections to be imported into the program free of charge from our website. This feature is completely optional and only limits Users from accessing our latest reading selections.

Q:	Do you offer a Macintosh version of The Reader's Edge?
A:	Currently The Reader's Edge software is available only for Windows® based operating systems. If you have Virtual PC on your Macintosh computer you can use The Reader's Edge program when running Virtual PC.

Q:	How is The Reader's Edge different when used by a child or an adult?
A:	The only difference between the program for use by children or adults is the level of reading selections employed in the exercises. The program allows for users to select their "Content Preference" which includes reading selections and comprehension tests based on the preference of their choice.

Q:	How long will it take to see results. Will the results last?
A:	When learning a new skill it takes time to learn and like most things in life to be good at something you must practice. We say that you can at least double your reading speed in three weeks with only 15 minutes of practice every other day. We can't promise that after that you will be able to read multiple words at a time for the rest of your life. You may need to refer back to the program and re-practice with the exercises again to sharpen your skills.

A:	Our approach of teaching enhanced reading skills is different than anything else that has ever been developed. A:	Yes, as long as users of The Reader's Edge software are able to read and comprehend English, they will benefit from the program. Anyone can learn Speed Reading in any language!

Q:	Is there a benefit to working with the program more than 15 minutes every other day?
A:	The quick answer is "Yes." If you have the motivation to spend more than 15 minutes a day your progress will be proportionally better and other benefits will become apparent to you. When reading becomes more of a pleasure rather than a chore, you will read more. And since vocabulary development is a function of reading, and reading speed and comprehension are functions of one's vocabulary, you will experience continuous improvement the more you read. It's a scientific fact that 90% of one's increased vocabulary development comes from what one has read since 4th grade.
